What is Sam’s Voice?Sam’s Voice is a structured sober living home that offers a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals in recovery from substance use. We help residents rebuild their lives with routine, community and accountability.

Who is eligible to live at Sam’s Voice?Our program is open to individuals who are 18 years or older and are committed to living a sober lifestyle. While many of our residents have completed a treatment program, we also welcome individuals who are struggling with substance use and are ready to make a change. Each case is assessed individually to ensure we’re the right fit and can offer the support they need.

Is Sam’s Voice a rehab or treatment centre?No. Sam’s Voice is not a rehabilitation or treatment centre. We provide transitional sober living - a safe, substance-free space for residents to continue their sobriety journey with structure and support.

Are residents allowed to work or study while staying at Sam’s Voice?Absolutely. Many of our residents work, study or volunteer during the day. We encourage personal growth and self-sufficiency while maintaining a balanced recovery lifestyle.

How long can someone stay at Sam’s Voice?There’s no fixed timeframe. Residents can stay as long as they are actively working on their recovery, following house rules and benefiting from the structure and support offered.

What does a typical day look like?Each day is structured with morning reflections, daily responsibilities, peer support sessions, life skills training, personal time and evening wind-down. Structure helps build stability and confidence.

Are there rules and expectations for residents?Yes. To maintain a safe and supportive environment, residents must follow house rules including curfews, drug testing, chores and respectful behavior. These guidelines promote accountability and trust.
